Hi, we are Paul and Hayley Richardson, founders of JOURNEY.

We regularly travel to countries around the world in search for unique cuisines and authentic dishes. We spend time with the locals, visit food & spice markets and gather as many recipes as we can along the way. We tend to stay away from the 'western' versions of recognisable dishes such as Mexican Chilli - our speciality which we picked up on our trip to Mexico in 2014. In 2017 we visited family in Bangladesh and were lucky enough to come across a fantastic chicken curry with garlic and ginger. It certainly isn't what you would find in a curry house here in the UK. The chicken was marinated over a day in a delicate blend of spices and yogurt, toasted over open flames and finally served with a cacophony of vegetable and rice side dishes. 

Since 2015 we've been catering for weddings, events and charity evenings. We just can't get enough of that buzz you get when feeding hundreds of people at a time. This also gives us a chance to keep raising the bar, and test some of our brand new recipes. 

In March 2021 we launched JOURNEY Kitchen. Every Friday from 6-9pm you can pick up a feast based on cuisines from around the world.
